Hello Animal Lover!
I get just as excited about the time we spend together as I do about the art we create. I love when the photography feels natural because everyone is having a good time, and I believe this is what makes for great images.
Those pictures on your phone will create digital dust over time, and it pains me to know they’re hiding within the hundreds of snapshots taken over many years.
If you’re like me, you love your dog or horse beyond words so you have a thousand pictures of them on your phone. What do you do with all those photos besides share them on social media or scroll to find one while thinking, “When did I take that picture”...?
Usually nothing, unfortunately.
I’m here to help you honor your amazing dog or horse and decorate your home with beautiful custom art that tells your unique story with them.
Pretty and posed pictures? We can do that.
Action shots that show beauty in motion? Awesome!
Feel like going on a beach walk, hike, or trail to get some really fun pictures of what you do with your amazing 4-legged best friend? Now you’re speaking my language!
If you’re looking for boring, you’re barking up the wrong tree. We’re going beyond the backyard and beyond the barn door. Decide how you want to show off your dog or horse, and then we’ll have fun creating memories.
Your art, your way
Custom photography for the animal lover
A little about
Jill
My #1 goal is to make you happy. We will create beautiful artwork for you to enjoy while we have fun doing it! The photographs I’ve taken of my dogs Tedie and Cypress are treasures I’ll hold forever. I want to make meaningful photographs of your pet that bring the same happiness to you.
The ‘usual about me’ stuff…
I have a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and 7 years in business as an equine and dog photographer. I live in South Florida and started photographing my own dogs and horse so I could look at the photographs and hold onto those moments forever.
Unfortunately, I’m not IN many of them! This led me to start Jill Brammer Photography, which has expanded into a custom photography experience whether it’s in your hometown, your backyard, or beyond the backyard for epic adventures. Because I want you to have photographs to help you remember the fun things you do together.
Cool people with cool pets in cool places…
An avid traveler, I can be found taking pictures of dogs in Acadia National Park inside Bar Harbor, Maine, or in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina where I hike the mountains and trails with my dogs, and also in Lexington, Kentucky, where my horse, Ben, at 24 is happily retired and enjoying his best life on 60 acres with friends. My heart smiles.
Clients say the sessions feel like fun play dates with the bonus of wall-worthy art and heirloom albums to remember their beloved furry family members forever.
The team
Assisting in art direction and quality control, we have…
Tedie
My soul dog, Tedie, passed over the rainbow bridge at age 16, but his “mischievous man in charge” attitude still drives quality control and fun. He is my why.
Ben
Ben, my goofy Warmblood, taught me how to laugh, love, and spend enormous amounts of money on a single animal whilst smiling.
Cypress
This little Lab was sponsored by Cypress Gardens to be a seeing-eye dog but had a “career change” early on (definitely for the best for everyone!). Bless her sweet, honest heart. She’s in charge of integrity and belly rubs.
I believe…
-Animals first. Always.
- Heaven on earth is the smell of the barn and the first sip of good coffee.
- in lots of play time. The bumper sticker on my car says: Make time for play.
- The world would be a kinder place if more people traveled to see how others live.
- You have to be the best version of yourself or your horse will call you out.
- It doesn’t matter which way you put the toilet paper- just leave squares!
- The best drink ever is a Bees Knees (think adult lemonade!).
- I’m pizza obsessed - I make my own Italian dough and have a pizza oven (it’s big).
- Dogs aren’t on earth long enough because they’re really angels.
My soul dog Tedie.
He was 6 months old when I picked him up at Broward Humane Society and was with me until he crossed the rainbow bridge at 16. Now I have a digital frame with over 615 photographs of him. There aren’t enough photographs of “us” ~ me with Tedie ~ exploring the beach, hiking in Acadia National Park or the Blue Ridge Mountains, or many other fun, crazy adventures. I want to honor him and all we did by taking photographs of you doing amazing things with your dog or horse or any furry/feathered family member.
If you get what I’m saying, we’re probably a great fit.
Tail wags, sandy paws, mud, and a huge smile on your faces. That's what your time together is about!
